Signal
A message hung on the door handle, and the guest no longer needs to pick up the phone. The words, the language, even a touch of wit can belong to the property; the leather and its colours belong to its decor. That leather can go on to dress a remote control holder or a leather waste basket, until the whole room speaks with one voice.
Preserve
Some touches are never on display: they wait in the wardrobe for the guest to find them. A chosen wood, a monogram engraved on the heel, a finish that echoes the joinery of the room, and a shoe tree becomes the quietest signature of the stay.
